I have a 100-400 oss lens on an a7r iv body. I’ve carried it with me for weeks at a times on treks in the mountains. Everything is great minus the mount where the tripod foot attaches. I keep the foot removed for space and convenience considerations while trekking, and the camera is strapped to my body while not in use using peak design clips. Now to the question. The exposed mount where foot attaches has rubbed holes in my clothes every time. Does anyone know of any small rubber cap or anything to cover the exposed foot mount on the bottom of the lens? I can just cover it with tape or something if need be but I was wondering if there was a more optimal solution. Thank you!

Can't you just rotate it up out of the way?
