Sony A6400 A6400 Display

I have my first question for you all. I see that I can turn off the rear display off on my a6400 and only use the view finder. What I am wondering is can I set it for using the view finder for taking pictures, but have the rear display turn on for reviewing photos take and setting changes?

This does seem to be a real hot topic, but in case anyone else is wondering about this, I found the answer

Right above the "FINDER/MONITOR" IS
"DISP button". Click on it, click on monitor,
and check "monitor off" (it should be the
one at the bottom). Then if you exit the
menu, you should be able to use the
physical "DISP" button on the scroll wheel
to change display views, one of them just
being the display off completely.

maybe that might be useful for astrophotography? you know, so you don't ruin your "night vision" ie having your eyes already accustomed to the darkness.
