I love the Minolta 28-135mm lens for walkabout but it’s so often too narrow for my needs.

Is there any notable wide lenses that don’t break the bank?
I’m considering a used Tamron 10-24 mm f3.5-4.5

Thanks, was that on a FF body or on APS-C?
FF. A9II I like is so much that I’ve just ordered the 70-180 2.8

was considering the Sony 2.8 version but at Hal the weight, half the cost and in some reviews similar IQ and similar to better AF it seemed like a worthwhile gamble. I don’t plan on building a big Sony prime kit so this should be a very useful addition.

I picked up an old Minolta cam with a variety of lenses. (35-70. 28 2.8, 70-210f4, 50 1.7) and unfortunately haven’t had a ton of time to play with them yet. I also picked up an a850 body to compare these lenses in FF vs on my a77. Looking forward to messing with them

I had an A200 in 2009 and became acquainted with several nice lenses. I preferred compact offerings, so the 100-200, 70-210 Beercan successor (the f/3.5-4.5) and original 35-105. Now I'm back in the neighborhood (a7.ii) and grabbed another copy of the 70-210ii, a 100-300D Apo and recently a 24-105D. No AF at the moment (using the ea3 adapter) but good results. Contemplating an ea4 to bring the team to full operating capacity..
