Alfred, our resident GBH, has found a new place to hang out -- the platform of our fountain! The fountain itself and the electrical bits which make it run got blitzed by a recent thunderstorm so isn't working at the moment. Alfred was happy out there....

The first one looks easier to smooth out, to me - are these from jpeg or ARW?
They’re ARW files. Sometimes I open them to edit in Lightroom on my iPhone. Probably that’s not the best app but it is convenient when I’m sitting on the couch with a whisky.

Wow, you can edit a photo on a phone now, who would have thunk it?

These two were screaming at another bird who was dive-bombing them.....they just wanted him to go away!

Warbling white-eye - taken in the blue hour with basically no light, so sadly a bit noisy.

I had a recommendation on a new spot to check out for birds and wildlife. I'll be keen to check it out again in the evening. As it was today, there's lots of ducks waiting to be fed right near the "do not feed the wildlife" sign lol

Been a bit busy with work stuff, so by the time I get out there, the light is going fast... a lasse!

...not a lot of light, so the ISO is up there (and I got a wet lens)

Eagles can turn their heads about 180 degrees in either direction. This one's body is facing the moon, but it had turned around to face the mountains behind me, where the sun would rise in 15 minutes.
