Sony A9 Determining firmware version?

Can anyone tell me how to determine which firmware I have installed in my A9? I just purchased it new in the box, but I don't know if it has the latest 5.1 (?) firmware.

hope this helps

1. Select Menu > Setup subpage [7] > Version on the camera.
2. The system software version is displayed.

Jonathan I dont have the A9 but did some searching and the latest version is 6.0. Take a look at this link for info on how to download the latest version. Hope its useful for you. Here's the link. www.sony.com/electronics/support/downloads/00016361
