And I made sure the surfer could have it too: I approached another surfer that was about to get in the same waters and asked him to swim to him and tell him to not leave without talking to me, wich he did (and gladly so because he was the one selecting 5 frames of the 140 I had of him, 1500+ shot that day, A1 is unbeatable at sports).

There is a WSL event going on at my local beach and some high level surfing can be witnessed.

But after this recent 200-600mm overload surf shooting days I have to confess that I miss shooting my shallow DOF primes so much that I even bring the backup 7M3 along with the 135GM or 50GM attached (not swapping lenses out there in a windy beach for sure) and constantly look for an excuse to use it (shocking to hear the loud 7M3 m-shutter again after getting used to the A1 e-shutter wisper)
