  1. Yes
Went to the Mighty Murray River and at the Lock I got these shots of this one.
It is the closest I have got of one as it must be use to being close to people being at the lock where a lot of people are at most times.

Very close! Nice shots.

I didn't realise they could stretch that far! I will have to edit the one I got in the mangroves yesterday... 🌞

They have the look or the same sort of eyes as the Darter.

They look a bit like these ones. A guy there said it was a white headed something or rather, I said I don't know their names, I just take their pictures... 😀

They look mad when they're on the food hunt, they start wobbling their head when they're excited!

These are White-faced Heron we have got a couple of different ones as I remember.
There is also the White-necked Heron and the Nankeen Night Heron plus the Pied , Striated, Great-billed and I think that it that we have in our land.

Nicely done Ralph!

Super set of images Ralph , love the first one showing the bird in a more built up environment , never seen one in such a place in the UK

Thanks for that and I have been watching a few youtube things about mudlarking in the Thames and seen the same birds there.
So I would think that you might get to see the same sort of thing there sooner or later.
But they could have a totally different way of doing things over what they do here to.
Can never tell with birds I think.
