  1. Yes
Some recent shots from Happisburgh, which for reasons known only to Norfolk folk, is pronounced Haysboro. This is a particularly well known lighthouse, and I'm sure others have taken these shots many times (though a local friend told me he's never seen a shot from the pill box). This village is ultimately going to be swallowed up by the sea, despite best efforts with sea defences. Over 50 acres has disappeared in the last century. We very nearly bought a house 100 yards from this Lighthouse :) Anyway, these are the first proper shots I took using the 24mm Tamron.

Nice set! It took me 5 minutes to figure out those marks in shot #6 wasn't my screen or your sensor, but is spider webs!

Classic! Is the lighthouse still functional? In Australia a lot have been mothballed in favour of much smaller, cheaper to run auto units.

Kev, have you considered putting your Photography on Flickr?

Thanks guys.

@ Brownie. Yep. I did attempt to clone them out, but decided it looked better with, Realistically I could have removed them before shooting.

@ Slug. Yes it is still functional, and unusually it's still manned, whereas most of them here that are still functioning have long since been converted to electric.

@ Jeff. I have thought about it, and I guess I should really. I think that when I looked into it sometime ago, they were having all sorts of issues and were also restricting people and there was a threat of images being lost, so it kind of put me off. I guess that has all been resolved.

@ Jeff I have used Flickr in the past then it was free they started charging and if you did not pay they culled your photos removed over 3k from my account. I found it handy as a memory map/file as you get older and as I only keep my photos on a monthly/year basis on external drives not always easy to remember where and when well that's my 2cents worth. Oh and Kev nice set 👌 see I remembered

Lovely shots Kev but where are the birds? ;)

Thanks guys.

They add a sense of derelict and abandonment to the shot. If anything, maybe try to make them more prominent? If you can't hide something then let it make a statement!

Cheers Malky :)

Tim 1. See other possts :D

Tim 2. Yeah they do, or poor housekeeping :)

Well, I'm a new guy with much less than a year with them. I don't know about any previous problems. I'm paying them $60/year and i8t is for unlimited uploads which I can show publicly or hide them for myself or a couple of others. What I appreciate the most is that they don't down res anything. So when I would like to show friends or family photos that are at full resolution. Then they view them on their iPhones!

See I'm against paying for something that then restricts my use of it, that's just not fair at all.

What restriction? The $60/year is for unrestricted uploads. Only the free account limits you to 1000 photos/videos. I have both. I use the free account for gee-whiz stuff and cull every now and again.

I don't like paying either, but where else? Smugmug? Photobucket turned into a bunch of a-holes, not even sure how they're still a thing. Is Imgur still around? Instagram and Facebook are jokes. I use FB to link back to Flickr, and that's it.

I misread Jeffs post. Anyway, where else? Amazon Photos.
