Hello, I sold my Nikon P900 in April and bought a Sony a6100. I enjoy taking photos at area state parks, my 2 cats, 1 dog and I enjoy doing macro photography. I’m purely a hobbyist and sometimes I don’t know what I’m doing, lol. I’m currently thinking of upgrading to a full frame camera, possibly the Sony a7riii.

Welcome! I think the a6100 is a great bang-for-the-buck; I would have bought that instead of the a6400 if it was an option when I made my purchase but I digress... Any particular reason why you want to go Full Frame? The lower cost of APSC lenses and accessories is certainly a bonus!

Mainly because I want IBIS, which the a6100 doesn’t have. Also I really am enjoying macro and am thinking the extra megapixels can’t hurt. I was originally thinking of upgrading to the a6600 but did some research and am now thinking a7riii. I am definitely not looking forward to full frame lens prices....
