Hello everyone :) I've just bought a used A7Rii and FE 4 24-70 Sony lens. Ive also been trying out old lenses like the Helios in search of exaggerated bokeh effects. These are are few of my first tests on my new lens and camera, and I look forward to learning about how to use the camera and take better pictures on this forum. Here are a few of the test shots.

Thanks :) I hope its ok I posted some here before I saw your message. I'll take them down if they're in the wrong place.
Absolutely fine, it certainly fits as part of your introduction! I have 2 gingers and a black cat of my own, so bring on the cat photos haha

We like to share metadata on this forum, its useful to see how particular lenses/camera bodies perform at different settings. When you upload your photos, click insert then "full image" so the metadata is displayed below the image.

You just can't have too many cat pictures! Yours are great Caroline. Welcome to the forum.
Just had a scary thought...my previous cat pictures were taken on a Sony A77ii...so i could flood the forum right now !!! I'm not kidding about the multiple thousands ;) These are from 2021 on the A77ii with an old Tamron 90mm and a Tamron zoom. We lost both the red boys :( They were brothers but they fell out with each other and my other two cats and both had to be re-homed. One, Winston lives happily with my daughter, and his beautiful brother Rupert was adopted by a couple who utterly adored him, but tragically he died of a freak thing called a saddle thrombus only a month after he went to live with them. It was devastating. He was only 4.

I have not done any sort of counting, but have a strong impression that the number-one forum-favourite subject here is... birds!
So maybe flooding the forum with cats might not work out too well. :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:
