A few shots of the utterly fabulous (and speedy!) Little Terns at Winterton Beach, Norfolk. They nest here every year (and this year this is the only site in Norfolk) and are amazing to watch. They have now had chicks this past week (we saw some today) and they are constantly fishing and trying to avoid Hobbies, which will take them mid air and cut the wings off. Brutal. These are shots from 3 visits. I will post more in the fullness of time. Great set Kev , there is also a colony which breed at Blakeney Point on the North Coast , best views obtained by taking a boat trip to the seal colony where decent close up views can be had of the Little Terns

Thanks everyone.

@Ray. Yes, it's good when there's no haze, and these are cropped in of course. They are all shot in zone with tracking.

@Steve. Yeah, though the RSPB guys at Winterton said there are no birds there, or certainly weren't 2 weeks ago. They have all of their volunteers and paid staff at Winterton.

@Ralph. It just takes some practice, or a lot with these.
