Your Photo of the Week

Week 3. I think I'm a little behind here! This is one of the friendliest robins that I've come across. Very happy to pose for photos.

Week 6 (a couple of days late).

Starling on our garden fence in the first bit of decent light we've had for a while...

I think I'm running a week behind, so I'm going to cheat and call these weeks 5 and 6. El Paso, Texas, USA. And be first time playing with longer exposures on the A7C.

I fell off the wagon so to speak, but I'll try to catch up now.
Week 6/52: Kimchi Fried Rice

I'm convinced that Kev lives in a Zoo!

Week 8/52: An Ibis flew into the backyard while I was on a conference call this morning. He was feeding in the grass much closer to my window but by the time I got my camera he was already on the fence and making ready to leave.

Week 9/52: My favorite butterfly shot from my trip to Butterfly World last week. The colors remind me of my homeland, Jamaica, because the Jamaican flag is Black, Green and Gold!

Well Jeff, we know what camera you're using but what is the aircraft your flying? It's not painted brown, I know that.
That would be the wing of an RV-10. My wife and I built it over the course of seven and a half years. First flight was this past November.

That's exciting. Congratulations for the completion of an interesting project.

Week 10 and a real surprise visitor to the trees behind our house today, in the form of this Redwing. Only once have I seen them near the house before, so I am very pleased to see and be able to photograph one without leaving home :)

Week 10/52: Mackerel in Coconut Sauce. I took this picture to use in the thumbnail for my next youtube video. I cheated a bit and used Photoshop to mask the dish while replacing the black granite countertop with a solid black layer (this will help me later in making that thumbnail as I said).

A day late for week 9, but yesterday was kind of busy.

Meet Bear. We completed our first Pilots N Paws mission yesterday taking Bear from Frankfort, Kentucky, to Clarksburg, West Virginia, where another gentleman met us to take Bear onto his final destination in Pennsylvania. Bear has had a pretty rough life so far, but it sounds like he’s going to be well cared for now.
