Your Photo of the Week

Week 18. Josh turned one yesterday so it's time he learned to drive himself around.

I don’t recommend you letting them drive when they’re too young. It enables them to meet more girls, and then before you know it, third mortgage on your house to pay for the wedding. Cute little guy.

He's already wining and dining the girls at nursery. I was hoping the birds and the bees conversation was still a few years away!

Sounds great! Might have to make a trip down. Looks like it's only about 2 hours from me which is around the same time it takes me to get to Bwlch Nant yr Arian.
Worth it, the beauty of it is that you stand on the crown of the hill and they come across at eye level, or at about 10ft above! Just park at the National Trust car park. That said, they were so many in the village, up by the primary school, because they scavenge, you are spoiled for choice.

Week 27. My sisters American Bulldog Cross, Nellie, She's a bloody great lump of a dog, but daft.

Week 28. A quick visit to a local park this morning, before the Tennis :) Mandarin Ducks, either all females or females and Juveniles, hard to tell at this point, but anyway, I really love this image for the colours and reflection. I had to shoot a lowish shutter speed to get the ISO reasonable to retain feather detail.

Gorgeous shot Kev. Definitely loving the reflection!

Definitely! Great shots Chris! Are you off somewhere nice or on your way home?
This was a week and a half ago on my way to North Carolina for July 4th weekend. Sadly I never got the full-on view of that sunset, just a peak, but the light was... otherworldly, I didn't even need to play with the saturation slider here!

Week 29. We went back to Watlington Hill for some more Red Kite shots today. I have to say it was perfect conditions for flight shots, strong breeze but bright and sunny.

Week 27/52: The Biltmore Estate. This was the last tour we did on our little trip to Asheville and I think the sheer opulence of this mansion deserved many photos, but this was one of the better exterior shots I got.

Lovely shot Kev. Hope the eye is feeling better!

Week 31! A fabulous Juvenile Northern Wheatear. Stoked to have seen this, as I've only ever seen one adult in the past.

Week 01 - Two hulls lost to time. It seems the hull on the left was a sailboat hull adapted to power as a work boat, most likely fishing as that is what we do around here.

Week 21. I've missed a few weeks unfortunately. I'm so busy with preparing to move house I've barely picked up the camera in the last few weeks. Frank is still getting his walks though, so here's a quick shot of him.
