Rumor central reported Sony officially registers a new a9iii camera body in Asia

Any more recent rumors regarding a potential release at CES? I heard the in person event was cancelled and everything moved online, will that potentially move out the release date past Q1?

I can't say w certainty, but I suspect that when the release date is set, even if CES is cancelled or placed online, they'll likely announce the release --- unless maybe the in-person CES is rescheduled for near future. Then they may wait a few weeks or so. That's my guess.

It can only be either the Vision-S or the a9iii, but I suspect it'll be the 9iii since there was an "α" symbol on the teaser panel.

Also because it's about the same time the rumors predicted the a9iii release. I'm guessing it close to the $5,000 USD figure if it far exceeds the a9ii component/features offerings. I hope I'm wrong.
