My Mac Preview program includes an EXIF reader which says the Stabilization on my 100-400 is Panorama (the second option) regardless of the switch setting. I need to do a sanity check with another viewer. Most just report "ON", verses Mode 1 or Mode 2.

Sony's Capture One requires a more recent OS version than what I'm running, but an "update" is seldom simple.

Can any one recommend a Sony friendly EXIF viewer that returns the Stabilization setting?

I just discovered that this is not lens specific. I mounted a 50mm and got the same results - Panorama. The only switches on the 50mm are for AF or MF, and the aperture Click setting.

So either my current reader is suspect, or Sony's implementation is suspect.

Either way, I'm still looking for a Sony-friendly EXIF viewer.

Wow - you managed to find a stabilised 50mm! Oh, hang on...

Yeah, sounds like an error in the coding of the EXIF interpreter.

You can look at the EXIF data in most photo processing software - I generally look at it using Adobe Bridge.
