Nice series. So Sony had a 300 2.8 lens in A mount but not in the current E mount? Neither Canon nor Nikon have one in their new mirrorless mounts either? This is interesting, considering what a staple this lens was for the SLR companies.

yes a-mount 300 g2.8 I use it on e-mount via lea-5 adaptor and it very good

The 300 f2.8 was the staple for all the sports guys at one time but it's moved to the 400 F2.8 now which both Sony and Nikon have.
