Sony Global Imaging Ambassador Mark Galer probably knows the new Sony a6400 better than anyone else who has had early access to Sony’s latest mirrorless APS-C camera.

In this review he takes a closer look at the new features that have been introduced, including the new Real-Time Eye AF, Real-Time Object Tracking AI, and Interval Shooting that will most likely be introduced with every new Alpha camera going forward.

You can also view his gallery of high resolution images shot with the Sony a6400 here:

Real-time Eye AF and Real-time Object Tracking found in the new a6400 will be coming to the Sony a9 via firmware update v5.0 which is due for release in March this year. Then this summer firmware v6.0 will introduce Animal Eye AF and Interval Shooting.

For Sony a7III and a7R III Shooters you will be getting Real-Time Eye AF, Animal Eye AF and Interval Shooting via firmware update v3.0 in April 2019.

Have you already pre-ordered the Sony a6400? Or are you waiting for the rumored a6700 or a7000 or whatever Sony may call it?
