A few shots of a Grey Phalarope at the weekend. A passing migrant in the UK, on his way to Africa. Also known as a Red Phalarope due to it's summer plumage being that colour, something we will never see here in the UK. Fab little bird, utterly manic when feeding. This is a lifer bird for me.

Cheers Steve. It was good, as you may have guessed as you've seen the pics now, but despite a 6.8m Tide the birds didn't get pushed into the pits at all, they stayed distant and that tide receeds quickly too. so they had no reason. That's why we went to Titchwell. Hoping the weather stays nice for Nov 8th and will head back again, as it's the last chance this year.
