the day following my previous Acorn Woodpecker post, I had the time and good diffused light to use up a lot of pixels :p
Unfortunately or not a lot of interesting activity and a decently fast frame rate meant I had a lot of images to sort through

This species lives in colonies of a dozen or more individuals, and store food supplies in granary trees (or utility poles), defending the stores as a group when a squirrel is foolish enough to sneak a bite.
