The thing is I had to walk up to the plant to spot the fly and then walk back and try to find it in the viewfinder, the old eyes are not what they were

Close focusing on this lens is kind of crazy, isn't it? Although I have to admit I'd never have thought of using it for these types of shots, I'll need to give it a try. The sunflowers in my garden have brought in more honeybees than I've seen in a decade.

Thanks Tim I have thousands of shots and no kidding these are average for this lens close up and guess what as you know it can easily be done with a-mount glass on e-mount
