Nice shots. I wish these birds came further south in the UK. I'd have to go a few hundred miles north to find them
 
Don't play with your food!
I saw two loons doing this today.
Dive down, grab food, flip it around, drop it in the water, retrieve it, and repeat. Eventually, swallow it whole.

These are a recently new bird to me. I would of thought I would have seen the a long time ago but it has only been of recent time that I have seen them.
I know for a fact if I live by these I would be capturing them as you have here as they are an unusual look but a good looking bird. And I can only wish that one day I get the chance to get a shot of one like these. Well done.
