Your Photo of the Week

That was taken on May 3, 2025. I just finished making a Winterthur Spring 2025 power point for family and friends and this was one of my favorites. I guess I posted the photo in the wrong forum. I will delete it and repost in another forum.
I just haven't been to Winterthur in a while and was just thinking I need to head over sooner than later.

That's only The Other Day! 😊

I regularly don't even process my pics in the same week as taking them. This evening I have just done the concert I attended on 29 June.

I'm doing stuff from 9 months ago that just wasn't a priority at the time or was a bit difficult.

Actually, have even been re-doing some much older stuff which has benefitted from modern software features.

Here is an example of one of the older photos I have recently reprocessed:

Blanche Point

Two young siblings fighting for a place in the hierarchy. Taken at a naturepark in Norway. Scandinavian wolves.

Grey Heron with a Silver Water Beetle Larvae. It was determined not to be eaten, to no avail!
I am sure that the Greys are just as aggressive as the Great Blues here and the more I watch and see reports of them the more I am convinced that these are true apex predators. I've seen them eat rabbits, snakes and fishes that don't appear at first will fit but recently I saw a series of photos of a Great Blue eating a gator that was between 2-3ft (60-95cm).

They absolutely are, to be honest I think they are essentially the same species, just named differently.
These guys will literally eat anything they can get in their throat.
