These guys are weird. As the name implies they primarily feed on beech trees but usually cause little damage. They are nicknamed the "Boogie-Woogie Aphid" because they group up and wave their waxy butts in the air.

They look like the small bucktail jigs I would use to catch bait, or mackerel.
