Thought I would try taking a focus stacking shot (4 step, 10 shots) of the moon tonight. The first stack from Helicon without doing any touching up kind of ended with a cool effect. The second is with some very quick erasing of the double but it still needs a little work.

Nice moon. I didn't think that depth of field would be an issue for an object a few hundred thousand miles away, especially at f16.

Fantastic shot of the moon, your 600mm reach does a great job. Not sure you would need to do focus stacking on it. Do you have a single sharp image to compare?

I'll probably put more thought into another shot sometime, probably use f6.3. It really was me wondering if it would even work at all.
