I've recently tried to incorporate more habitat into my wildlife images to expand upon the standard portraits with a smooth background.
In this case, I was fortunate the eagle flew against an aesthetically pleasing chaparral/rock outcrop, setting the scene nicely.
Species: Golden Eagle (Aquila chrysaetos)
Location: California, USA
Equipment: Sony A9 III + FE 200-600mm
Settings: 1/2500s, ISO: 2500, f/5.6 @200mm, Handheld
