Money In The Bank - I always consider the banking pose for birds in flight the "money shot" after which I'm satisfied and ready to pack up and head home.
Special thanks to my buddy for tipping me off to these guys. We used our vehicle as a blind and stayed very still until the owls started passing close by. They are entertaining to watch with their bouncy, moth-like flight pattern.
Our patience was rewarded and we came away with many great sequences.
I look forward to observing this species for the remainder of the season before they head North to their breeding grounds.
