Yesterday I headed to the East Lothian coast for my second outing with the Sony A7 IV, paired with the Sony FE 24–50mm f/2.8.
It was one of those cloudy blue sky days that still carried a softness in the light, perfect for slowing down and exploring details.
What really caught my eye was how the marram grasses along the sand dunes were illuminated in the 720nm spectrum. The infrared brought out a completely different character in the scene, turning familiar shapes into something quietly otherworldly.
I’m really enjoying getting to know this conversion by Protech Photographic of my camera, each trip reveals something new in places I thought I already knew well.
