Newly purchased lens sony 70-200mm f2.8 gm oss my first gm lens ,I had a previous bad experience with e infinty it had poorly functioning zoom ring it was making a squeaking noise , i could of lived with but was not going to put up with it ,as it would probably hinder resale or malfunction later on at some cost, to be fair e infinity were ok with the refund and i have purchased other items from them and been ok ,i knew the risks ,i just would not use them if i was going to purchase a big white lens the packages are always so poorly packaged no foam or in fill and a really thin cardboard box used ,anyway here are some pics of the comical starlings in my garden sony 70-200mm with t/c ,the af is really snappy kind of liked this also iq is not bad either even with t/c.

What a great set of shots Paul! Glad that you got a refund.

Me too, seems to be a shortage of 70-200mm f2.8 in the uk which coinsides with a £300 cash back offer lucky i manged to get a good one s/h ,I will probably need it for gwash ospreys in two weeks ,i really wanted to wait for the sigma art 70-200mm but have no idea when this will be available ,to be honest i have not been disappointed with gm so many reviews some good some bad ,lot variance in copies i assume ,accounts for bad reviews ,the only problem i noticed was softening with close up stuff ,where as i think the tamron 70-180 is probably stronger .
