  1. Yes
A few shots from Tilgate Park. Lots of Mandarin Ducks, but no obvious Males, as they are in Eclipse Plumage so don't have the bright oranges they usually display. There are a couple of Juveniles too. They certainly have some character anyway. The Dragonfly is a Downy Emerald. Not as much fine detail as I like but the ISO took care of that, very strange light on the day. The punky Heron had been spooked by a Mink, and the Swan Cygnet is one of 4.

Amazing! You captured a dragon in flight! And with a 600 lens? And you got it at 90-degrees – good for DoF, but difficult for tracking those speed demons. Man, what are chances of that happening? Those odds must be right up there with 'getting struck by lightning'. I tried repeatedly w only a 135 and couldn't nail it. I bow to the Master. 🙏

The set looks good, as usual. A little variety this time. And I like the herons.

I'll post a set of Dragons in Flight for you to peruse.... It's a bit of a speciality of mine :) I will say, that this shot was the first I've taken with my tracking sensitivity down on 1 (lock) instead of 5 (focus), and it definitely did grab on much more effectively.

I've always used #1-lock for it's stickiness. Holds dragon lock while passing by trees, betw plants, etc. once you get them into EVF. But they just fly so fast, I have difficulty just getting them into EVF. I just need practice. But thanks for tip.
