I met one of the occupants of this sailboat this morning. She told me they dropped anchor in the dark at high tide. They were concerned about the tsunami warning.

This is how things looked eight hours later, in the early morning light.

There are channels, well known by the fishers. The boat in the foreground is closer to shore than the sailboat.

I really like that first shot. The layers created by the mountains and atmospheric conditions behind the sailboat are almost like a painting.
