While walking out bush I came across this pair who were real busy making the next generations.
For me this is good to see that there will be more to follow in the future.
Notice the male and the tail. In his early life something must of happened to the end of it and I would think over 6 inches at that.
But even without it as you can see hasn't slowed him down.

The story to why it is like this would be interesting but we will never know sadly.

For the truth to be known they are popular here as pets as well.
They are breeding them into pinks and all other shades of colours.

As kids we had Shinglebacks, Blue Tongued Skinks and Breaded Dragons in a bush setting in the back of our parents yard.
We must have done a few things right as the Shingle back and the Blue-tongues had little ones but never got the Bearded Dragons.
As if memory has still got my they are egg layers while the other 2 are live breeders.
