We spent last weekend at Freezeout lake Lake near Choteau, Montana. They ha a record number of snow geese this year, 61,000. There were also several thousand Tundra swans. A great place to go every spring for birds and Americana when you drive around.

Great shots, Geoff. That 2nd one would be a bit of a challenge for the eye autofocus system!

Thank you. LOL, yes eye AF was rather confused.

Are you kidding me? That 2nd one is a challenge for my eye focus system! :ROFLMAO:

Great photos but the second one is incredible. I wonder if they ever suffer a "Midair" collision?
Thank you. Did not see any mid air collisions thank goodness. But did see a lot of maneuvering for positions.

Excellent. Much like Snettisham over here.

The 2nd image makes me think about the saying that you can't see the forest through the trees.
This is a little like that you can't see the bird through the flock.
Great image as I see it and I would like to one of those White Swans I know we have them here but not close by though.
