A few shots from the boys' basketball game that I shot on Tuesday. I used my Samyang 35-150 f/2-2.8 for about 75% of the shots and my Sony 70-200 f/2.8 GM2 for the rest. I just noticed that all of these were with the Samyang.

I don't think a foul was called.

21 is one of the top rated players in the region and saw a lot of double coverage.

Fighting for the rebound.

I also made a copy of this and cropped on the players on the right but I liked this shot showing everyone's attention on the action.

A few shots from a boys' basketball game from Thursday night. I only used my Samyang 35-150mm lens.

I got this shot as the player stole the ball and was going in for a dunk.

I wasn't on the right side of the goal to get the face in the dunk shot but did like this shot.

That lens does a nice job! Please consider starting a thread for it in the Lens Image Sample forum.

I have been pleased with it. Where I used to carry my 28-75 and 70-200 I now just take the one lens. I noticed in looking through my Lightroom catalog that it has been my most used lens over the past several months.

I did create a thread in the Lens Image Sample forum for it. I didn't see a thread for the Tamron 35-150mm. It would be interesting to compare images.

I shot my last basketball game for the season last night and decided to play around with Photoshop to get a composite shot of a freethrow.

Here is the player at the line about to shoot.

This is a composite of the next 11 shots with the last image as the main image.

This is a composite of 16 shots with the 1st image (just after the ball left his hand) moved to the bottom to be the main image.

One more composite of the 11 shots but this time with the 1st image moved to the bottom of the stack to be the main image.
