I'm amazed at the resolution on this. I was easily 30 feet away and saw this little guy buzzing around a nearby tree that was still budding. Check out all the pollen that he's gathered!

it is a she, not a he. You can tell because it is working. The females perform menial tasks, like collecting food, feeding the young and keeping the nest tidy. while males perform the vital task of fathering the next generation.

Now that you have mentioned this, my sometimes rusty brain does seem to recall those facts. It also doesn't help that I tend to refer to a group of people or critters as 'guys'.
