Automobiles Classic cars in Sydney last Sunday

Car clubs converge once a year at Eastern Creek in Sydney. A mate of mine has an old car so I went along. Huge range of cars and characters.
Used a polarised filter for some of the shots in the sun. Learned a lesson about impromptu shots while a passenger….shutter speed too slow so otherwise good shots not sharp. I’d say my reject rate was a lot higher than usual that day…lots of variables with people walking about, vehicles moving, strong sun in middle of day etc. Any tips from those that photograph cars appreciated.

I like car shows and we have not had one here for quite a few years now.
The biggest thing I noticed is that many people just don't care if you are taking a photo of a car and will just walk on through.
But in our world today everyone is the most important thing these days and you are just in the way.
But the little old VW's would have been great to see. I liked what I was looking at.
