Is that blowing sand or smoke from fires? I took a Motorcycle trip to Death Valley once and it was Crystal clear.

Is that blowing sand or smoke from fires? I took a Motorcycle trip to Death Valley once and it was Crystal clear.

That was smoke from the fires. I’ve also been when crystal clear, but actually did not mind it as it gave a soft filter effect.
