Distracted by driftwood

I can't have a conversation on the beach because I'm distracted by driftwood, fascinated by it.
I saw a mythical creature - like a griffin.

I saw a griffin right away! The beak was obvious, but the two front "paws" and shoulders sealed the deal for me.
