  1. Yes
I can't have a conversation on the beach because I'm distracted by driftwood, fascinated by it.
I saw a mythical creature - like a griffin.

So did the camera.

I saw a griffin right away! The beak was obvious, but the two front "paws" and shoulders sealed the deal for me.

The rain paints the driftwood revealing a portrait of the macabre.

I saw the top image differently looks like a strange creature battling against the wind.

One of my favourite beach creatures, seemingly defying gravity.

I saw it the opposite way, some sort of creature heading right to left. Funny how the brain works, once I saw your bird, that's what I saw.

I see it your way too.

Another perspective on that doomsday machine shot. Different day, different lens, still raining.
Taken from 6 metres (20 feet) back @ 200 mm.

and for easy comparison, here's the earlier shot with the lens practically in the hole @ 16 mm.

This is the beach where scenes for Alien were shot. I found a wounded one trying to crawl back into the sea.
