Shots from my garden w PondHawk perched on broccoli leaves. Kev has corrupted me, now I'm beginning to like bugs more than raptors. :(
Is this guy eating holes in my broccoli leaves? Hummm....

Most excellent Mike, and what a lovely species too. He won't be eating your Brocolli, that'll be caterpillars and other bugs. Dragonflies rule :)

Thank you, I got lucky. And yes, because this guy was so lovely, I didn't want to miss this opportunity; so my thumb accidentally slipped of the AF-ON button and inadvertently hit the f/stop wheel pretty hard. So DoF looks pretty good. (taking NO chances this time). Yeah... maybe overkill.

And yes, you are correct again. Pesky little caterpillars! When culling thru these shots quickly looking only for in-focus dragons --- I completely missed the caterpillar masterfully camouflaged on the broc leaf. Fortunate for him I didn't see him in photo til now, else... Glock time. 🥵..... :)

.... Dragonflies rule :)
AMEN to that!!!!
