Foggy morning in Porto

I was met with thick fog on my first morning in Porto. Maybe not the best weather for trying a new lens but what can you do. I decided to embrace the unique atmosphere. The 20-70 surprised me with its ease of use and accurate AF even when it was hard to tell what was on the frame. I love it so far.

Jeez Alex I thought the weather here in the UK was rough, weeks of rain and hundreds of flood warnings lately, anyway nice job

Later that day it was sunny but it was like 3 or 4 hours of the thickest fog I have seen. It felt supernatural haha. Thanks for your words.

Lovely work Alex!

Thanks Clint! It's heavier than my usual 40mm but its versatility is worth it. Really pleased with the AF and the bokeh even if it's not the fastest lens.

Alex, I loved visiting Porto in October. I took that lens and the 70-200 f4 with me, light and fast! Great shots!

Beautiful little city, lively and colorful (as I discovered later that day when the sun popped up haha). Full of shooting opportunities.

Yeah, this lens is light enough for my a7c but I don't think the camera would suit anything heavier or bulkier like that 70-200 of yours...
