I am back home now after a lovely 3 days in Galloway.
On Monday when I arrived in Galloway Forest I checked out compositions for the rising of the Full Moon...I saw these pine trees in the section of an area where a lot had been cut down with some left over with only a few branches and leaves left...later on that evening I framed up the moon rising in-between them.
This is two images one for the trees and one for the moon blended in photoshop.
Tree layer : ISO 1600, focal length 400mm, f6.3 at 1/4 second.
Moon layer : ISO 100, focal length 400mm, f6.3 at 1/30th second.
