Nice shot, and I really like the building. What sort of library is it? How old is the building? It looks like it would be right at home as a set for a Sci-Fi movie, perhaps one of original Star Trek series.

It's a university library, and there is as much square footage below ground as is visible in the tower. The building dates to 1970. You can find a few references in film, including the "snow fort" in Inception.
