Birds Great Blue Herons in the trees

I usually see the Great Blue Herons down by the water. Today I spotted a couple in some trees several hundred metres from the shore.

I just added this mini-update on my experiences with the 2X teleconverter.

2X Teleconverter with FE 200–600 mm F5.6–6.3 G OSS and A1

I just had to try, even though it was heavily overcast. F13 needs a lot of light. Handheld - not easy to do. 100% crop 150% crop For anyone following along: I got a GREAT deal on a 2X teleconverter yesterday. Too good to pass up. I got it mainly to carry with me when using the FE 70-200mm...
