I usually see the Great Blue Herons down by the water. Today I spotted a couple in some trees several hundred metres from the shore.

For the sake of making some comparisons, I swapped the 2X teleconverter in and out.

What was your conclusion ST with and without the 2x fitted ?......I remember my times in Vancouver
Where Herons in pine trees trees was a very frequent feature....

I just added this mini-update on my experiences with the 2X teleconverter.

I'm still hoping to find them nesting.
