Birds lapwings I think possibly thinking of making a move

I am sure someone will confirm what these are and if in fact they are on the move, it is no secret I know very little about birds but Kev usually puts me right

Yep Lapwings, also known as Peewits elsewhere. Nice. They often get spooked by Raptors
 
So do they stay in the UK Kev?
Yes. They have declined a lot apparently, though I see thousands of them! They breed here every year. I think numbers are boosted in Winter but there is a decent population that are resident
 
Its another bird that has been affected by the change in farming messing with their breeding.
