I spotted this little owl on our family farm recently. I had the a7III + Sigma 100-400 with me but wished I had the a7R IV + 200-600 for the extra reach as they definitely live up to their name! This was shot at 400mm, f/6.3, 1/60, ISO 2000 and cropped to 2048px. Light wasn't great at the time and it was shot handheld so I wouldn't use it to judge the quality of the Sigma too heavily, hopefully I'll get some better shots of this little guy soon.

Looking forward to your thoughts on the Sigma 100-400.

Looking forward to your thoughts on the Sigma 100-400.
I'll be testing it a lot more over the next few weeks and comparing it to the Sony 100-400. It definitely misses more shots than the Sony when my dog is running towards me, at least on my a7III.

That's interesting that you already can tell it's missing more than the Sony 100-400. Can't wait to hear more!
