Hi yes I just made the switch and there is a big difference in the a6400 to the a6600 that is my switch ..the focus is faster on the a6600 with the 200-600 Sony and with the 18-135mm Sony I am getting sharper photosand the 4k Video is sharper and I wanted the in body IS and the extra custom button on the top of the camera for switching betweenthe focus areas ..I have the A7R4 also and with the A6600 working better with the 200-600mm been using the a6600 for everythingcan't say enough about the a6600 some of the pros call it the baby a9ii good luck
