Hi everyone, I am new to the alpha shooters forum but not new to Sony cameras,
I have been using an a77ii for some time now and have just recently got myself the a6400 which I also like, less bulk weight etc is helpful.
I am based in Dorset and am keen on wildlife just been playing with the a6400 in the garden so may post a sample later.

Welcome! The a6400 is a very capable camera, lighter in the hands (and on the wallet) than its full-frame siblings.
I was very young when I visited Dorset over 30 yrs ago, my fuzzy memories don't resemble the really cool coastal landscapes I see here in Google image search haha 😅
What wildlife are you photographing? This forum has many bird photographers as you may have noticed by now.

Welcome from a fellow Dorset Sony shooter. Enjoy.

Hi there, thanks for your message.
I photograph a lot of insects, butterflies , moths, spiders too, but also birds and lizards and just whatever I come across on my walks and in my unruly garden. I love the things that people don't notice, also love to photograph my pets and sometimes I do a few portraits of friends when they ask.

Welcome Caroline and thank you for joining up here. The a6400 is a cracking small camera, it's a lovely time of year to be out in the garden too, especially with the sun shining like this morning :) If you have any questions about this forum please don't hesitate to ask.
