So just got back from the latest cruise, I took the A1 lea-5 amount adaptor and the a-mount Zeiss 24-70 2.8 g2, and 70-200 f4 mk1. I usually take the zeiss 24-70 f4 but not this time.

So 5-6 days into the cruise the ssm motor died in the lens  without any warning, the lea-5 with this lens made great images, having just updated the A1 I wonder if that caused it because I noticed the left hand side of the A1 getting hotter than normal.
