When my battery is depleted, I turn Camera off (as suggested by Sony) and open battery door. Replace battery, close door and turn On. The Camera is dead almost every time.
However, if I leave the main switch On - Open battery door and eject the new battery half way only – push back in gently to ‘locked ‘click position – close door if you wish – powers on 90% of the time on the first time I push battery in, if still no power, do it a second or even third time will usually power On.
I have tried Settings Reset/Initialize to see if it cleared any problems – then reloaded all my settings – but no difference.
I have another A1 and two A1ii bodies – none of them do this.
Any suggestions what this issue may be please?
