Taken from Buckenham Country Park, we couldn't get tickets for the airfield event (thankfully as it turns out, as it blatted with rain from 245 and all flights got cancelled), so we went to the nearby country park to view. You can see most of the displays from there, albeit a bit distant. Anyway, after her display we were very lucky to have the awesome B17 do a fly over at low altitude, like they knew we were there. Fabulous aircraft.
We will see her again at the free Clacton Air Show later this month.

Can we see the guy in the nose gun turret? Great shot, especially when you zoom in.

Lovely shot of a cracking plane Kev. The free airshows are always the best :) A B17 came down on Titterstone Clee Hill where we live back in 1944. The Clee Hills sadly claimed the lives of quite a few airmen back then.
