Well, I am glad you asked! That is The Inn & Spa at Loretto, and it has an interesting history. I have added a web site that goes over part of the story if you are interested. The whole story involves:
1. An Archbishop enticing 7 nuns from Independence, Missouri to come west to Santa Fe to teach. They wound up having to build the school that the Inn of Loretto stands on.
2. A chapel built for the nuns by the archbishop in which the nuns donated $30,000 of the life savings to help build. Within that chapel a "miraculous spiral staircase built without nails, screws or support, by a solo man who disappeared after the staircase was completed.
3. A Catholic cathedral, Basilica of St Francis of Assisi that was built with the help of funding from the local Jewish community and a very famous Lady who ran the local gambling pallor and ladies of the night establishment. She is buried on the cathedral's property burial ground.

My photographs of the Inn and spa suck, I was too lazy to get back there when the shadows were just right.
The better question would be where did I take the photo of jack o lantern and dogs?
